The position holder is accountable for the effective development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing and promotional medical education activities targeted toward healthcare professionals (HCPs).

The purpose of the role is to support the creation and execution of branded Tralokinumab marketing strategy and tactics, with a focus on congresses and promotional medical education/peer-to-peer initiatives

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing innovative, impactful HCP marketing strategies and tactics to secure uptake of Tralokinumab, primarily congress exhibits, advertising, and peer-to-peer/speaker programs and content,
  • Participate in the generation of KOL and market insights, product performance, and competitor trends (via market research and advisory meetings) to inform program refinements
  • Collaborate with the field force to optimize the development and delivery of promotional medical education strategies and tactics s
  • Maintain process to ensure active communication with the field force to monitor field activity as well as performance/progress; make recommendations and adjust strategies/tactics appropriately
  • Manage operational convention ("congress") planning execution, and budget, including liaising with congress vendors and LEO teams to ensure scheduling and staffing of booth and meeting space
  • Recommend congress sponsorship and advertising levels to management in alignment with key business objectives
  • Manage the congress budget; track and report spend; ensure execution of payments
  • Assist with managing Peer Ed/Speaker Program operations, content development and budget, including logistics and creative agencies
  • Drive collaboration and foster strong partnerships with internal teams, including Medical, TLL Team, Sales, Legal and Regulatory, and Global
  • Partner with Med-Ed agencies and agency of record to develop and execute tactical plans
  • Complete all company-based and job-related training as assigned by LEO Pharma within the required timeline
  • Additional duties as assigned by LEO Pharma Management

Job Specific Requirements
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in in-line marketing roles, or comparable combination of product management, sales and extended brand team experience for a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company required; promotional medical education experience preferred
  • Dermatology experience is desired, but not required
  • Strong collaborative, strategic and tactical marketing skills required
  • Excellent understanding of health care compliance related to medical education
  • Well organized; ability to multitask, prioritize and rapidly adapt to shifting responsibilities r in a fast paced, cross functional environment
  • Strong communication, presentation and written/verbal skills
  • Able to interact well with internal and external customers
  • Personal integrity; passionate, energetic and focused on the company and mission
  • The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required - up to 20%
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
