About the Job: You will support and lead with management the mission of driving a robust corporate culture that embraces integrity in our operations, consistent with the core values and principles of LEO's Code of Conduct. This includes building a scientific credibility of LEO in the Cancer Associated Thrombosis (CAT) area, in Italy and with international/global KOL. You will be in charge for managing on the field all the launch scientific activities (Italy) and drive medical activities (Italy and globally): in post-launch phase in Italy and globally for established markets. The function reports into Global and local Medical Affairs Director, working in full cross-functional way with all the other departments, in full alignment with LEO Global Corporate Business and Compliance strategy, translating them in local initiatives and strategies based on the Country healthcare system. Job Description Are you ready to pioneer together with us? We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Thrombosis to join our team in Italy, based in the North of the country, preferable in Lombardia or Piemonte. MSL Thrombosis will be LEO healthcare provider support, by using a scientific approach that is aligned with the Brand Team objectives and therapeutic area Medical Plan. MSL will act proactively in developing medical and scientific interactions, delivering on defined strategy and tactics, within the applicable and defined metrics and time-lines. His/her main responsibilities will be: - Interaction and development with Health Care Professional (HCP)
- The MSL will be expected to be an expert on the product and therapeutic areas. This will involve regular and extensive reviews of the literature, developing presentations and assisting with publications and medical communications. - Participation in scientific meetings will be essential, and the MSL will attend appropriate scientific congresses and conferences, and LEO therapeutic area training sessions to maintain a current knowledge base and to develop competitive intelligence on other products in their therapeutic area. - The MSL will play a critical role in internal training and communication with the Medical, Brand Team and territory managers, providing both internally and externally education and knowledge sharing to colleagues, HCPs, KOLs, Scientific and medical societies, Patients' associations. - The MSL will be responsible for assisting the Medical team in the identification of potential investigators and research projects. For Investigator Initiated Studies, this may include education and facilitation of the Investigator Initiated Study process. Qualifications
