The job

We are currently looking for an energic and talented Production Planner for our Finished Good Manufacturing site in Ballerup. As a production planner your main focus will be to schedule production to secure that orders are delivered to our customers in due time, while minimizing the operational cost and maintaining inventories at optimum levels. You will work in close cooperation with Tactical Planning, Procurement, Suppliers, Production, Quality and the warehouse.
  • Finished/semi-finished goods scheduling in SAP APO following best practice processes. Release planned production orders and following up on the daily production output
  • Work closely with all areas of the factory (incl. warehouse) to ensure that our production plans meet their needs and agree on action plans in case of gaps
  • Work closely with the Tactical Planner to ensure your plans efficiently meet business needs and ensure tactical decisions are reflected in the operational plan
  • Materials management & housekeeping - Using MRP processes in SAP, manage the ordering of raw material & semi-finished goods in line with our requirements, taking into account safety stock levels, lead-time and availability.
  • Work closely with Material Planner and suppliers to ensure all stocks are available in advance of requirements. Expedite all overdue orders to understand whether they pose a supply risk. Adjust delivery due dates in line with supplier confirmation. Quickly escalate any potential risks to supply.
  • Maintain master data needed for operational planning (within the defined scope)
  • Implement best practices and be involved in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Your qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience within a Planning role in a Supply Chain function is a plus but not a requirement, preferably within the Medical industry
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Good knowledge and understanding of ERP and MRP systems. Our preferred candidate is a SAP fan
  • Fluent Danish and English, both verbal and written

You show the ability to work in a complex environment and the ability to manage priorities well. You are curious to understand what the key challenges are in our supply chain operations and improve processes. You have strong communication skills and an analytical mindset with eagerness to learn and take ownership. You have a "Can Do" attitude - Issue solving mindset.

The Supply Chain Operations site Ballerup and External Manufacturing consist of 12 experienced team members each managing different areas of the Supply Chain operations for our production site in Ballerup or various External Manufacturers.
