Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage, and expand business opportunities among national, regional specialty pharmacy accounts. The individual in this role will collaborate in both strategy and tactical execution of the Specialty Pharmacy network strategy as it relates to Trade, Market Access, Marketing, Sales, Field Reimbursement, HUB and patient support/assistance.

  • Develop, manage, and implement innovative specialty pharmacy partnerships, including contracts, to support SP network strategy
  • Develop and maintain an integrated business plan, which explores specialty pharmacy opportunities and monitors contract progress and performance.
  • Measure program performance on a quarterly basis, communicating results to leadership, Patient Access and Patient Engagement teams
  • Coordinate with Field account management to operationalize specialty pharmacy on a national and regional level
  • Communicate regularly to the Field sales team, including presentations at regional/national sales meetings
  • Collaborate to develop program marketing materials including promotional resources, patient education and trade/wholesaler communication
  • Complete all company-based and job-related training as assigned by LEO Pharma within the required timeline
  • Additional duties as assigned by LEO Pharma Management

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • 5+ years' pharma industry experience with 2+ years of specialty pharmacy experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience with managed markets and/or trade, including contracting and negotiations
  • Ability to travel overnight 40% (travel consists of working with field sales, attending business meetings, industry meetings, and working with key customers)
  • Managed market, specialty pharmacy and trade/supply chain account relationships a strong plus
  • Experience in dermatology or dermatology specialty pharmacy a plus
  • Strong presence when working with customers both internally and externally
  • Strong negotiation and team selling skills
  • Ability to analyze, communicate and execute according to business priorities and strategy
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and strategic program development skills
  • Strong project management, analytical thinking, and financial modeling skills
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
