Experienced EHS Manager to join the Global EHS Team - do you have leadership aspirations?

Multifaceted EHS leader and sparring to managers in the Global Product Supply (GPS) organization
As our site EHS Manager you will get the opportunity to unfold all your HSE skills and tools with the opportunity to develop your competencies further.

You will play a key role in fostering EHS culture onsite as well as ensuring EHS compliance, license to operate and ensuring EHS ISO certified management system. You will be LEO's representant to authorities & inspectors and will be the technical expert in security legal aspects.

You will report to Senior Director, Global EHS and dotted line to the Site Lead, and you will manage a team of highly skilled EHS professionals. You will be part of the Global EHS team.

You role will be to proactively manage the Environment, Health and Safety function site-wide, ensure compliance with all regulatory legislation and global LEO requirements. You will work with the local business support functions and Global Product Supply organization in Vernouillet to ensure optimal EHS procedures and systems are in place. Also, you will work alongside the Global EHS organizations to ensure delivery of common systems, controls and policies and procedures.

And to:

  • Define, manage and optimise the environment, health and safety policy
  • Evaluate and prevent the occupational and environmental risks
  • Implement prevention programmes for employees
  • Deliver training for personnel
  • Improve their knowledge
  • Stay informed about new regulations
  • Managing the department's budget
  • Lead the Vernouillet EHS committee


Your opportunity to grow your leadership aspirations

You should possess Master's in chemistry, Master's in Chemical Engineering or similar degree. You have at least 10 years of experience from similar position in a global company - preferably from pharmaceutical or medical devices environment.

You will bring strong experience as a team leader, and you are able to motivate people. Moreover, you are a strong and natural communicator and you are fluent in English and French.

You have a natural talent for working with a mind-set and influencing others with regards to: Enterprise thinking, Simplicity, agility and efficiency.

You are known for your ability to deliver, to execute and turn a problem into a solution on the move. You can do this because you have a keen interest in the business and the ability to bridge business needs and the right EHS tools, in many different situations. To succeed, you lead through others and must also bring networking and communication skills, including solid English skills written and spoken. Related to this you know the value of delivering advisory and sparring face-to-face, and you have the personal impact and courage needed to drive things forward and challenge the current status quo.
