Job Description

As part of our 2030 strategy we will establish a new Global Business Service Center in Gdansk and Global Procurement will be part of it.

Are you ready to start a new adventure pioneering together with us? We are looking for a brilliant Procurement Specialist to join our newly established team. Reporting to the Head of Tactical Procurement you will work in a highly dynamic environment, supporting internal stakeholders all over the world, throughout our Purchase to Pay process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement projects and tasks in the Tactical Procurement pipeline;
  • Support execution of Strategic Procurement projects managed by Category Managers;
  • Run end to end RFX's (RFP's, RFI's, RFQ) in accordance with Category Strategies, Supplier Strategies, GLT Strategies etc - including market analysis, tender creations, negotiation strategies etc.
  • Negotiate agreements and contract and ensure best possible terms and conditions for LEO; as well as ensure all suppliers are covered by active contracts, in cooperation with Category Managers, Global Legal and the LoB;
  • Conduct review meetings with key stakeholders in Global Procurement and relevant LEO LoB;
  • Support with input and new knowledge of supplier market and business need of the category/subcategory in cooperation with Category Managers;
  • Participate in Supplier Relationship Management activities (governance, personal meetings, supplier evaluations across LEO, facilitate and resolve dispute);
  • Be a trusted advisor for stakeholders in all the aspect of procurement;
  • Ensure that day to day procurement decisions are taken according to the Global Procurement Principle Procedure (GPPP).


About you:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in procurement (sourcing and contract management), preferably within Pharma or Medical Deceive industry;
  • Negotiation experience of complex contracts;
  • In-depth understanding of RFX process;
  • Project management skills;
  • Analytical mindset;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills;
  • Executioner with team player orientation;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (any further language is an advantage).
