What a Senior Analyst, Business Finance at LEO Pharma will fulfill:

Partner with Key Stakeholders and Business Partners to align business priorities and drive effective solutions/execution. The Senior Analyst of Finance is responsible budgeting and forecasting, ROI/financial analysis, and management reporting for the US Region.

What you will bring to this role:

  • Execution of the annual business planning cycle processes and ensures zero based budgeting.
  • Ensures key drivers behind budgets and estimates are understood and clearly communicated to management.
  • Assist in the creation and loading of the quarterly operating expense forecast.
  • Liaisons with multiple internal customers across the U.S. and global organization within a matrix organization. Effectively communicates reporting to global and local business partners.
  • Creates financial models, researches and analyses leading indicators and key business statistics.
  • Maintenance and development of monthly reports as well as the Leadership team presentation.
  • Engage with cost center leaders to identify areas of opportunity to drive improved business performance.
  • Challenge processes and the status quo to drive improvements.
  • Prepare monthly accrual and reclass entries in support of the monthly close process.
  • Provide monthly variance analysis, identifying the business drivers behind variances.
  • Support business development opportunities as needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required by management.
  • Support annual audit process.
  • Complete all company-based and job-related training as assigned by LEO Pharma within the required timeline.

Additional duties as assigned by LEO Management.

Business insights:
  • 4+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
  • BA/BS required; MBA and/or CPA certification are highly preferred.
  • Requires excellent analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
  • Prior pharmaceutical financial planning and analysis experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain financial models.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Feels comfortable challenging business partners and making recommendations.
  • Commitment to quality and excellence and upholds the highest professional standards.
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively with people.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
