We are looking for a new colleague that will be the CommEx Data owner to lead the development of the global commercial data governance through the implementation of the new global data warehouse and MDM solution.

The job

The CommEx data owner will be responsible to define and manage the "LEO Way of Sales" foundational business information model, entities, relationship, attributes and master data definitions. Develop KPIs and reports to track analytics of the physical and digital channels (e.g. CRM, Marketing Automation, Website)

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Design and maintain the commercial business information model
  • Document agreed business information model, entities, relationship, attributes and master data definitions
  • Ensures data model consistency with the LEO Way of sales, Comm Ex process manager
  • Ensures data model implementation. feasibility with the data sources, GIT Commercial data architect
  • Report on data quality & advanced analytics
  • Develop global reports on MCM interactions using various input sources like Google Analytics, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Veeva CRM.
  • Manage Data traceability matrix: Business process rules  Information model  data sources (latter with input from GIT data architect) including Internal & External Sales data, CRM and MCM activities data.
    • Sets relevant KPIs on MCM engagements in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Suggests ways of measuring success and ROI on MCM activities across the channels like websites, email and other channels.


Your qualifications

We expect you hold a bachelor in business administration, finance, system architecture, or similar; min 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with global or regional experience, and:

  • Experience with data sources such as IQVIA (MIDAS, national, subnational data), Veeva/ CRM activity data, Google Analytics and SalesForce Marketing Cloud, SAP finance data
  • Experience with SFE business processes is ideal but not a must
  • Conceptual / semantic data modelling
  • Relational data modelling tools e.g. IDEF1x
  • DW query for ad hoc analysis
  • Experience handling data and process challenges across markets and regions

Global Commercial Operations - your new department

The role is in Global Commercial Affairs & Excellence and will report to Head of Commercial Operations which is part of Global Commercial Affairs and Excellence. This position leaves you with a large group of stakeholders from all over the entire organization, and in particular the Commercial Excellence network and Global IT.
