Description

This role will provide advanced analytics and insights to the Sales Operations & Sales organization in order to help the Leadership teams make better business decisions. The analysis will also help to provide clear guidance as to the impact and effectiveness of sales execution, sales results and various sales initiatives /programs. It is a critical role at analyzing the significant data sources and translating the data into a clear concise actionable story.

  • Leads in the measurement of sales initiatives to determine the effectiveness of Sales KPIs/Execution and Sales-related Initiatives through thorough data analysis. Able to comfortably present the results and/or findings and make recommendations.
  • Works closely with key stakeholders to determine Key Performance Indicators and then prepare the appropriate dashboards. Will ensure they are delivered on a timely basis updated as required.
  • Uses advanced analytical approaches to provide proactive insights to identify drivers of top and bottom performance and recommends opportunities for improvement
  • Takes a proactive approach to understand the needs of the sales teams.
  • Performs deep-dives of the data using analytical tools as well as drives insights to the key stakeholders.
  • Works closely with sales and marketing on various sales related activities to ensure programs can be measured and that the right target audiences are identified. Performance metrics are identified and measured.
  • Able to interpret sales data to find key trends and issues for sales leadership that will aid in driving performance. Meets regularly with sales leadership to provide updates and identify potential areas of concern.
  • Understands territory sales performance in conjunction with sales force execution.
  • Uses PowerBI tools to assist & build presentations that are impactful and engages stakeholders in meaningful discussions.
  • Supports queries and ad hoc requests from key stakeholders (Sales, CA&I and Brand Teams, as needed).
  • Additional duties as assigned by LEO Pharma Management.
  • Complete all company-based and job-related training as assigned by LEO Pharma within the required timeline.
Required Experience:
  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of previous analytic experience within the pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record.
  • Can communicate effectively with all stakeholders, (i.e. sales leadership, brand teams, external vendors and executives).
  • Instils trust with stakeholders through proven database experience and ability to integrate complex data sets.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple diverse projects.
  • Demonstrated use of data visualization tools such as PowerBI or IQ 2020.
  • Has worked with various IQVIA, Data Aggregators & Data Warehouse Data
  • Action Oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Out of The Box Thinking (innovative), Analytical curiosity and ability to bring recommendations/solutions to the role.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven skills at seeking alignment in projects with diverse stakeholders.
  • Expert in Excel, PowerBI & PowerPoint
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
