You and your team are members of the global Center of Expertise (CoE) Talent & Organization who are dedicated to deliver on our new People Promise and to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world.

The job

Your role is to develop and drive the CoE for Global learning and Development (L&D) and bring LEO Pharma to the next maturity level by utilizing data and innovative solutions to create impactful learning and development. More specifically you will:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor global L&D programs, activities and tools targeted leaders and employees based on the 70-20-10 learning principle and latest research
  • Develop LEO Academy to become the global gravity center for learning and development by providing new relevant content and learning experiences
  • Based on specific competence needs, design learning journeys together with line of business guided by our strategic workforce planning
  • Provide consultancy to local L&D colleagues and manage external partners/vendors in terms of negotiations and contracts
The LEO academy was established in November 2029 and is relatively new but do already today offer global leadership development, project management etc. besides running a number of social learning events. In the next 1-2 years, you will be leading the development and implementation of a data-driven and technology-enabled platform for global learning including analytics to shape our learning roadmap and priorities.

The role is based in our UK main office in Maidenhead (London area) or alternatively in our HQ in Ballerup (Denmark).


Your qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who can build a strong foundation of L&D expertise and insights, and use this together with relevant research and best practices to develop global solutions:

  • Degree in learning, people development, business psychology, business or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in learning/development, HR and/or consultancy
  • Proved track record of designing and delivering learning journeys and sessions
  • Experience with leveraging digital solutions to support learning and development e.g. from implementation of a LMS (Learning Management System) or LXP (Learning Experience Platform).
  • Experience from a pharma company is preferred and mastery in English, written and spoken a pre-requisite
You should be excellent in building relations and manage stakeholders in a global organization; you possess business acumen and are able to translate business needs to solutions, and you are a strong communicator who can engage at all levels and is perceived a role model for the culture we would like to foster.

You will lead a small team and become a member of the CoE leadership team. The CoE Talent & Organization also covers CoE for Talent Acquisition, Organization Capabilities, Change Enablement among others. We have recently introduced a new and agile way of working across the CoE. Together with all team members you will play a key role in developing and supporting this new way of working.
