Responsible for strengthening LEO Pharma's corporate reputation and positioning in the US through disciplines such as pharma product communication, media relations and issues management.
US Media Spokesperson
Responsible for building relations with US based media, generating media coverage supporting:
Serve as the US point of contact for US based media. Identify media opportunities and conduct proactive media outreach through pitching, interviews, press releases, messaging, communications materials and campaigns to position LEO Pharma's ambitions of becoming a global leader in medical dermatology. Strategic counsel to senior spokespersons and key internal stakeholders on media outreach. Managing collaboration and coordinating with PR and Communications agencies.
Product communication strategy. Develop and implement the US communication strategy for LEO Pharma's dermatology portfolio internally and externally, with an initial focus on LEO Pharma's eczema portfolio.
Communication campaigns. Create and implement compelling campaigns to establish key brands, and future products in the market, and position LEO Pharma in dermatology, including milestone and data communication as well as congresses.
US and Global coordination. Be the single point of contact for product communication in the US and support global projects. Coordinate across LEO Pharma for consistent and efficient communication. Work with global functions and affiliates to create common programs. Coordinate with other communication and public affairs activities.
Internal communication. Collaborate with US Internal Communications to create internal awareness and excitement about LEO Pharma's dermatology portfolio.
Monitoring. Gather and distribute relevant external insights into media and competitor activity to inform the communication strategy. Establish a data-driven approach to measuring the success of eczema communication.
Issues communication. Prepare LEO Pharma for potential issues, monitor and manage their communication.
Member of the US Eczema Marketing team and Global Commercial Communications Business Partnering, which is part of Global Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability.
