Job Description

As part of our 2030 strategy we are will establish a new Global Business Service Center in Gdansk and Global Procurement will be part of it.

Are you ready to start a new adventure pioneering together with us? We are looking for our new Team Lead of Tactical Procurement. Reporting to the Head of Procurement Business Service, you will work in a highly dynamic environment, supporting internal stakeholders all over the world, throughout our Purchase to Pay process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of tactical procurement team;
  • Execution of tactical procurement related activities including, but not limited to market analysis, contract management, supplier analysis, bid analysis, risk assessment;
  • Ensure alignment with category managers, business partners and internal "customer" (line of business);
  • Manage minor disputes with suppliers with category managers in the respective procurement categories;
  • Negotiate and ensure best possible terms and conditions according to Global Legal guidelines;
  • Ensure full transparency in supplier selection and contracting;
  • Issue and monitor request for quotes/proposal (RFI, RFP, RFQ, etc.);
  • Selection of best source of supply by balancing price, quality, delivery, and continuity of supply (total cost of ownership);
  • Manage risk and escalate issues which may pose a risk or have an impact on business operations;
  • Ensure a consistent and professional approach in all supplier relationships;
  • Ensure optimal balance between cost, efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Master's degree in engineering, supply chain, finance or similar;
  • 5 years of management experience;
  • Experience in procurement (specifically sourcing, contract management, SRM etc.);
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office especially Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Strong team management skills;
  • Well organized, detail oriented, self-motivated problem solver;
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Fluent in English (and any further language is an advantage).
